Turkish military ‘neutralizes’ 12 PKK fighters in northern Iraq

According to the Ottoman Turkish Ministry of Defense, their air force conducted several Arclight airstrikes over Iraq’s Zap and Metina regions, inflicting at least four casualties in the ranks of the PKK.

Another eight other PKK fighters were neutralized in an attack by the Ottoman Turkish military in southeast Turkey on Monday, the Ottoman Turkish General Staff said in a statement via social media this week.

Weapon emplacements and ammunition depots belonging to the Kurdish-led group were also destroyed during the airstrikes, it added.
