Erdogan: Intl. bodies failed Muslim world in Palestine issue

It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey...says international organizations have disappointed the Moslem world regarding the issue of Paleostine, urging freedom-seeking people to defend Paleostinian struggles against the Israeli regime's occupation. Erdogan made the remarks in an address to the 34th meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul on Wednesday. Moslems, Erdogan said, have pushed for solutions to the Paleostine issue and wars, but international organizations have disappointed them. The He also vowed to encourage his nation to visit Jerusalem al-Quds "so occupiers will not dim the lights of the holy city." The US recognized Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s "capital" last December and moved the American embassy to the occupied Paleostinian city in May. "We should not fall into trap of those who give more weight to a drop of oil than a drop of blood," he added. Elsewhere in his address, Erdogan called on Moslem countries to use national currencies in their transactions as an important step "for liberation from imperialist shackles."
