Hundreds of residents of eastern Qalamoun join Syrian Army ranks
 [AlMasdar] Hundreds of residents of the eastern Qalamoun region in western Damascus joined the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Friday.According to the SANA report, hundreds of residents of the eastern Qalamoun town of Nabk joined the Syrian Arab Army; they will be serving primarily in the Qalamoun Shield forces (3rd Division) that primarily active in this region. The report did not provide anymore details. Recently, the Syrian Arab Army has been reaching out to reconciled towns to recruit new members to the military.
