Arab coalition destroys Houthis rocket pad launcher in Yemen’s Saada
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Arab coalition supporting the legitimate government in Yemen, destroyed on Saturday a rocket pad launcher for the pro-Iranian Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... militias in Saada. The coalition spokesperson Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that the joint forces command of the coalition and through the ongoing monitoring of the activities and movements of the Houthi militias, could track the militias’ attempt to prepare the camouflaged pad launcher with ballistic missiles in Saada province. He added that the coalition forces immediately targeted and destroyed the pad launcher in full compliance with international humanitarian law and the rules of engagement of coalition forces. Maliki pointed out, that the leadership of the joint forces of the coalition confirms "its commitment to the destruction of qualitative capabilities, such as ballistic missiles, which can not be obtained by terrorist militias and the threat of regional and international security."
