Israel taking Hezbollah tunnel issue to UN after launching operation
[ALMASDARNEWS] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated during a televised address on Tuesday evening that he instructed his nation’s U.N. delegation to request an emergency meeting over the tunnels constructed by Hezbollah along the border."I instructed the Israeli delegation to the UN to request the convocation of an emergency meeting of the Security Council to condemn Hezbollah and its actions," Netanyahu stated during his televised address. The prime minister said he discussed with the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday the issue of imposing new sanctions against Hezbollah.
