Intense clashes erupt between Syrian Army, rebels in northern Hama
[ALMASDARNEWS] A series of fierce firefights broke out this evening between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Free Syrian Army... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... (FSA) in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate, a source told al-Masdar News. According to the military source, the Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Armored Division opened fire on a group of FSA fighters from the Jaish al-Izza faction after they were seen moving between the towns of Massasneh and al-Latamnah. No casualties have been reported by either party yet. The military source added that both sides are using machine guns and heavy artillery against one another in this part of the demilitarized zone.
