Battle for Hajin reaches critical stages as heavy casualties mount for all sides

Backed by heavy  s from the U.S.-led Coalition, the Syrian Democratic Forces are currently advancing from the Hawamah District in northern part of Hajin towards the town-center.Video footage from Hajin shows the Syrian Democratic Forces positioned near the Hawamah Mosque, which is a site ISIS claimed the former had not captured: Battle for Hajin reaches critical stages as heavy casualties mount for all sides Despite the progress, these advances have proven costly for the Syrian Democratic Forces, as they have suffered dozens of casualties trying to fracture ISIS’s lines inside of Hajin. At the same time, ISIS themselves have suffered heavy casualties inside of Hajin, which could prove to be the deciding factor later in the battle as their manpower numbers continue to sink.
