24 injured as hundreds demonstrate in Gaza against Israeli blockade
[PRESSTV] At least 24 Paleostinians have been injured as hundreds of people staged a demonstration near the Gazoo Strip's northern maritime border with the Israeli-occupied territories
...in other words, they were on the beach...
during a weekly protest against the Tel Aviv regime’s 12-year naval blockade.
It is Monday, according to the calendar. The weekly protests take place on Friday along the Gaza fence, which is exactly what happened.
The Arabic-language Shehab news agency reported that eleven protesters were struck with live bullets on Monday, while 12 others suffered wounds after being hit with rubber-coated steel bullets. Another Paleostinian protester was injured by shrapnel.

Dozens of demonstrators suffered tear gas inhalation as well, and were transferred to hospitals for treatment.

Earlier in the day, the Fishermen Committees in the Union of Agricultural Work Committees announced in a statement that Israeli forces had targeted Paleostinian boats west of Rafah City.

The statement added that marines then boarded a boat and incarcerated
