According to reports from Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to fracture the Islamic State’s lines at the town of Baghouz Tahtani, resulting in the capture of several points near the Iraqi border.

The reports said that the Syrian Democratic Forces entered Baghouz Tahtani and established a foothold in the eastern part of the town.

In addition to their advance at Baghouz Tahtani, the Syrian Democratic Forces were also able to capture new points inside the key town of Hajin.

The Syrian Democratic Forces are now in control of at least half of Hajin, leaving only the southern districts under ISIS’s occupation.
