Al-Shabaab Ambushes Ethiopian Military Convoy In Somalia
[RADIOSHABELLE] More details are emerging from a heavy fighting took place in the past 24 hours in parts of Bakool region in southern Somalia.The battle which was intense has broken out between al-Shabaab ...  an Islamic infestation centering on Somalia...Lions of Islam and Æthiopian forces serving with African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful... mission in Somalia [AMISOM]. The fighting erupted when Al-Shabaab fighters launched an ambush attack on a convoy of Æthiopian forces in the vicinity of Wajid district in the region. Al-Shabaab claimed victory over the attack, saying its fighters inflicted casualties on the Æthiopia troops but did not confirm the number of the fatalities. There is no word from Æthiopia and government officials about the fighting and the attack.
