Abu Sayyaf wife, two children rescued in Sulu
 [SunStar] Three people, including two children, who were trapped during a recent clash between Philippine troops and Abu Sayyaf rebels were rescued by soldiers on Saturday, a top military official said Wednesday.Navy spokesman Rene Medina said rescued were Manah Solaiman and her two daughters, Raiza, seven, and Pirhana, two. He said they were rescued on Saturday, December 15, in Minis Island, Patikul, Sulu, the site of a recent firefight between marines and some 50 Abu Sayyaf insurgents on December 12. The clash resulted in the death of seven Abu Sayyaf rebels and a soldier. Three other soldiers were injured. Medina said troops were conducting clearing operation when they rescued Solaiman and her two daughters in the mangrove of Minis Island. He said they were immediately provided with food and water and taken to a hospital for proper assistance. He said Manah informed them that she and her two daughters were trapped when the firefight broke out on December 12, which prompted them to hide in the mangrove area. During the debriefing it was discovered that Manah and the two minors were the wife and children of an Abu Sayyaf militant Jackie Solaiman, alias Jackie Chan.
