ANDSF operations, U.S. airstrikes leave 15 militants dead in Ghazni
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least fifteen turbans have been killed during the operations of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces and U.S. Arclight airstrike s in southeastern Ghazni province.
The 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan Military in the South East said at least 7 turbans were killed during a clash between the security forces and Talibs in Qarabagh district.
According to a statement released by 203rd Thunder Corps, the coalition forces also carried out an airstrike in Aab Band district of Ghazni, leaving at least 4 turbans dead.
The statement further added that a vehicle of the turbans was also destroyed during the same airstrike.
In the meantime, four turbans were killed and a M-16 rifle was confiscated during other festivities which took place in center of Ghazni and in the vicinity of Qarabagh district, the 203rd Thunder Corps said.
