Vehicles convoy of Logar targeted in a suicide attack
[KhaamaPress] A suicide kaboom has taken place in the vicinity of central Pashtun-infested Logar province of Afghanistan amid reports a convoy of vehicles carrying the provincial governor and other bigwigs was targeted.The local officials confirmed that the incident has taken place in Kabul-Pashtun-infested Logar highway in Mohammad Agha district. A local security official confirmed that the governor has escaped unhurt from the attack but eight security personnel have bit the dust and ten others have sustained injuries. A member of the provincial council said the provincial director of the intelligence was also travelling in the convoy but he has also escaped the attack unhurt. The Talibs group has claimed that an attack has been carried out against a convoy of the Special Forces in Pashtun-infested Logar province.
