Somali, AU Troops Launch Operation In Bardere Following Explosion
[RADIOSHABELLE] The Somali government troops and AMISOM forces began conducting large-scale operations in Bardera town in Gedo region following a deadly boom-mobile kaboom.The joint operation which started Saturday continued till Sunday morning. It was carried out in several neighborhoods in the city and with reports of arrests. Ismail Abdillahi, the governor of Bardere district, who spoke to Radio Shabelle by phone said the operation was meant to avert al-Shabaab ...  Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...attacks.
