'Bandits' kill 26 in Zamfara state, NW Nigeria
[Al Ahram] Gunmen killed 26 people in Nigeria's northwestern Zamfara state, police said on Tuesday, in the latest violence in the troubled region. Police spokesman Mohammed Shehu said "15 persons, including a female" were killed in attacks on six villages in the Mada area Monday.
