High ranking jihadist commander assassinated in southern Idlib
[ALMASDARNEWS] A high ranking jihadist commander was assassinated in the Idlib Governorate this evening after a group of unknown assailants targeted his home.According to opposition activists, the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham  commander Alaa al-Deen Abu Mu’awiya was killed on Friday when three unknown assailants opened fire on him while he was returning to his in the village of al-Bara.The town of al-Bara is located in the Jabal al-Zawiya region of Idlib; it is considered a stronghold for the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.
