Patrick Church unveils boy brides at New York Fashion Week
[NYPOST] "Romance isn’t dead," declares British-bred designer Patrick Church.For his Fall/Winter 2019 unisex collection titled "Dearly Beloved" ‐ which was unveiled on Saturday night in Chelsea ‐ he paired off his models to symbolize couples in modern relationships. One show-stopping duo even served up ceremonial couture looks ‐ complete with a dramatic veil and bouquet ‐ ready for nuptial bliss. "The centerpiece of the presentation were two boy brides in hand-painted wedding dresses," Church tells The Post. The multimedia artist-slash-designer got married just months after meeting his partner, which inspired the theme, along with the concept that he describes as "feminine strength."
