According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military, at least 10 Talibs were killed and 9 others were maimed during the Arclight airstrikes which were conducted in Dasht-e-Qala district of Takhar province on Saturday morning.

The statement further added that the Afghan Commandos also participated in the operations and the shadow district chief of Taliban

The 209th Shaheen Corps in a separate statement said at least 4 Talibs were killed and 7 others were maimed during the Walid-36 operations in Sayad district of Sar-e-Pul province.

The statement also added that the casualties were inflicted on Taliban on Saturday evening, a day after two key Taliban leaders identified as Mahaz and Qari Gulbuddin were killed along with their 21 fighters in air and artillery strikes in the same area.

The anti-government armed bully boy groups including Taliban have not commented regarding the casualties inflicted on their Death Eaters so far.
