Several Saudi soldiers killed by Houthi sniper units along the Yemeni border
[AlMasdar] Several Saudi Coalition soldiers were killed on Sunday as a result of a number of Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... sniper operations along the Yemeni border. According to the Houthi forces’ official media wing, their snipers began the day by killing two Saudi soldiers near the Mashal military base. Another sniper attack by the Houthi forces targeted the Saudi Coalition’s positions inside the Jizan region on Saturday; this operation resulted in three soldiers killed. The Houthi forces have recently stepped up their attacks along the Yemeni border following the establishment of a U.N.-brokered ceasefire in the Hodeidah province. Since the inception of this ceasefire in Hodeidah, the majority of the fighting in Yemen  ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...has shifted to al-Bayda (central Yemen), Hajjah (northern Yemen), Sa’ada (northern Yemen), and Sana’a (northern Yemen.
