Afghan Special Forces destroy Taliban prison in Kapisa province, kill 6 Turbans
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan Special Forces conducted an operation in eastern Kapisa province of Afghanistan which resulted into destruction of a Taliban...Arabic for students... prison and killing of two turbans. Informed military sources said Thursday "Afghan Special Forces killed 2 Taliban fighters and destroyed a Taliban prison this week in Tagab district of Kapisa." The sources further added that the Afghan Special Forces also conducted a raid in Shindand district of Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... province killing 3 Taliban fighters. In the meantime, an air strike near Tarin Kot district killed 1 Taliban fighter, the sources said, adding that less than a week ago, more than 21 Taliban fighters were killed in an air strike in the same region.
