More than 30 Taliban, ISIS-K militants killed, wounded in latest security operations
[KhaamaPress] More than 30 turbans affiliated with the Taliban...the Pashtun equivalent of men... and ISIS Khurasan groups were killed or maimed during the latest operations and  s which were conducted in the past 24 hours in various provinces of the country.According to informed military sources, "The Afghan Special Forces conducted a multi-day raid in Chahar district of Kunduz province. During infil, the Afghan Special Forces were engaged from a Taliban fighting position and two air strikes were conducted in self-defense killing 8 Taliban fighters." The sources further added that similar airstrikes were carried out in Tarinkot city of Uruzgan, Bermal and Gomal districts of Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... , and Khugyani district of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province. At least 24 Taliban and ISIS-K turbans were killed during the same airstrikes and another ISIS-K Death Eater was maimed, the sources added.
