Russian soldier killed in ISIS ambush in eastern Deir Ezzor
[AlMasdar] A Russian soldier was killed this week when a group of Islamic State...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) forces of Evil ambushed the Syrian military in eastern Deir Ezzor. According to a report from Deir Ezzor, the Syrian military was ambushed by the Islamic State group while they were moving through the al-Mayadeen Desert on February 23rd. As a result of this ambush by the Islamic State, a 35-year-old Russian soldier, Sakhroub Kremov, was killed alongside several other Syrian Arab Army (SAA) personnel in this pasrt of the Deir Ezzor Governorate. The name of the Russian soldier was released this week after the incident was thoroughly investigated by both the Russian Armed Forces and the Syrian Arab Army.
