Clash In Herat Leaves Two Children Dead
[ToloNews] At least two children were killed in a clash between government forces and Talibs in Herat...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... province on Sunday, local officials said on Monday. Another person was maimed in the clash, the Herat governor's front man Jailani Farhad, said, adding that the two children were brothers and the maimed is their father.
