Arab fighter killed in Chechnya
 An Arab mercenary fighter has been killed in Chechnya, Bekmerd Ibragimov, a company commander from the Chechen presidential security service, told Interfax by telephone on Saturday. "A guerilla was killed in an operation in the Vedeno district after putting up armed resistance. He has been identified.
