Trump renews claim that Mueller probe was attempted ‘coup’
 [NYPOST] President Trump renewed his conspiratorial claim that his administration was subjected to a "coup" attempt because of the probes launched into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and his campaign’s ties to Kremlin-link individuals."They tried for a coup, it didn’t work out so well," Trump said Friday during a speech before the NRA convention in Indianapolis. He called the FBI officials who launched the investigation that led to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe "bad apples." Mueller’s report cleared Trump of collusion but came to no conclusion on obstruction. "We didn’t need a gun for that one, did I?," Trump joked to hooting gun enthusiasts. "We’ve been looking at things that you would not have believed possible in our country, corruption at the highest level. A disgrace," he claimed.
