Some 8,000 Paleostinians were protesting along the Gazoo Strip border on Friday, with some rioting and throwing rocks and fire bombs at IDF soldiers who responded with tear gas and occasional live fire.

According to the Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,-run Gazoo health ministry 31 people were maimed. The IDF had no immediate comment.

The protests were held at various locations along the border under the banner of Hamas’s ongoing "March of Return" demonstrations that have been held almost every Friday for more than a year.

The exchange also came amid ongoing efforts to implement a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

recently brokered ceasefire understandings between Israel and Hamas, which Hebrew media reports have said include an end to violence emanating from the Gazoo in exchange for the Jewish state easing some of its restrictions on the movement of people and goods into and out of the coastal enclave.
A subsequent article in the Jerusalem Post adds:
Around 60 Paleostinians were reportedly injured during festivities with IDF forces across the Gazoo border, the Paleostinian Ministry of Health and Israeli media reported on Friday.
The increased number no doubt includes stubbed toes, splinters, and two cases of serious sunburn.
As the Middle East waits to the unveiling of the US peace plan, commonly refereed to as the 'Deal of the Century' by the Trump administration, special US envoy Jason Greenblatt called on Paleostinian leaders not to reject it before they read it and announced it does not involve giving up a portion of the Sinai, which is part of Egypt, or a part of Jordan to create the future Paleostinian state.
