Afghan Special Forces discover Taliban’s large cache of weapons, munitions in Uruzgan
[KhaamaPress] The Special Forces of the Afghan intelligence destroyed a large cache of weapons and munitions belonging to Taliban...Arabic for students... group in Uruzgan province. The Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS), in a statement said Friday that the cache belonged to Taliban’s deputy shadow governor Mullah Atiqullah. The statement further added that 13 Death Eaters were also killed during the same operation and 10 rocket launchers, 8 rocket launchers (82mm), 13 PKM machine guns, 23 M-16 rifles, 170 rounds of rocket launcher rockets, 23 rounds of 82mm rockets, 18 Ak-47 assault rifles, 6 Dragunov sniper rifles, 3 cycle of violences, 25 radio sets, and 500 kgs of explosives were confiscated and four depots of the Death Eaters were totally destroyed. The anti-government armed Death Eaters including Taliban have not commented regarding the  so far.Uruzgan is among the relatively volatile provinces in South of Afghanistan. Talibs are active in some of the restive districts of the province including Tainkot and often attempt to carry out terrorist related activities against the government and security institutions.
