Taliban militants suffer heavy casualties in clashes with the Afghan armed forces in Zabul
[KhaamaPress] The Talibs have suffered heavy casualties in festivities with the Afghan armed forces in southern Zabul province, the Afghan military said earlier today.The 205th Atal Corps in a statement said Afghan armed forces clashed with the Talibs in Shenkai, Arghandab, and Daichupan districts of Zabul province leaving at least 17 Death Eaters dead. The statement further added at least 20 Talibs also sustained injuries during the same festivities. The Afghan military has not disclosed further information regarding the possible casualies of the armed forces as a result of the festivities. The anti-government armed Death Eaters including Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... have not commented regarding the  so far.Zabul is among the relatively volatile provinces in South of Afghanistan. Talibs are active in some of the restive districts of the province where they attempt to carry out terrorist related activities against the government and security institutions.
