Ulema pledge support to anti-polio campaign

Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set...campaign successful. The holy mans, who called on the chief minister at his office, announced their complete cooperation for the anti-polio campaign and resolved to work effectively to eliminate polio. The chief minister said the presence of polio in Pakistain was a matter of concern and that the whole world had become polio-free, but the disease still existed in Pakistain and Afghanistan. Stressing the role of holy mans in the anti-polio campaign, he said they had always played an effective role in the protection of social and moral values. Now, he said, children needed the holy mans to make the anti-polio campaign successful and eliminate the fatal disease.
