[ALMASDARNEWS] The Saudi-led Arab Coalition launched an offensive on Sunday to capture the Sudais border region inside the Najran

The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Despite the air supremacy and technologically advanced weapons, the Saudi-led Coalition was unable to crack the Houthi lines in Sudais.

According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their troops were able to inflict heavy losses in the ranks of the Saudi-led Coalition while also driving them away from the initial battle area.

The Saudi-led Coalition has been trying to expel the Houthi forces from the Sudais region for much of the war, but they have been unable to find an answer to the Yemeni group’s guerilla warfare tactics.

These tactics, which can range from hit-and-run attacks to roadside kaboomings, have been difficult to counter and often result in Saudi-led Coalition airstrikes that do little to hurt the Houthi resolve.
