550 kgs of explosives discovered from a vegetables truck in Nuristan province
[KhaamaPress] The police forces seized 550 kilograms of explosives from a vegetables truck in Nuristan province.The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Monday that the police forces also arrested two people in connection to the smuggling of explosives. According to a statement released by MoI, the Lions of Islam had placed the explosives inside 55 sacks. The statement further added that the Lions of Islam were looking to smuggle the explosives to Paron city. Nuristan is among the relatively volatile provinces in East of Afghanistan. Talibs are active in some districts of the province where they often conduct terrorist related activities.
