Enemy’s strategic site captured in North of Afghanistan: 209th Shaheen Corps
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan Special Forces have captured one of the strategic sites of Talibs in Faryab province.The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the Special Forces conducted an operation in Khawaja Namosi Bazar of Pashtun Kot district late on Monday night. The statement further added that Special Forces conducted the operation at around 11:30pm on Monday night. According to 209th Shaheen Corps, Khwaja Namosi Bazar is considered was considered as a strategic site of the enemy. Talibs had established multiple compounds, check posts and shops and were involved in narcotics deals to financially support their insurgency. The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that the security forces and local residents did not suffer casualties during the operation.
