16 Taliban militants killed, wounded in Kapisa, Wardak and Herat provinces
[KhaamaPress] The security forces conducted separate operations in three provinces killing or wounding at least 16 Talibs.The informed military sources said Wednesday that the Afghan Special Forces killed 3 Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... fighters during an operation in Tagab district of Kapisa. The sources further added that the security forces also conducted an  ...KABOOM!... in Nerkh district of Wardak and killed 3 Taliban fighters. Furthermore, the Special Forces killed 4 Taliban during an operation in Chisht-e Sharif district of Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... The military officials also added that the Special Forces maimed 6 Taliban fighters and destroyed 5 improvised explosives devices during the same operation.
