Why Foreign Governments Are Shielding Iran
[FrontPageMag]  Heiko Maas, the German foreign minister who was in Tehran meeting with “Supreme Leader” Ali Khamenei earlier this week, insisted Thursday that the footage of the IRGC crew removing the unexploded mine from the Kokuka Courageous was insufficient.“The video is not enough,” he said. “We understand what is begin shown, sure, but to make a final assessment, that is not enough for me.” The European Union similarly refuses to lay the blame on Iran.
