6 militants killed, large caches of weapons and explosives confiscated in Uruzgan, Helmand

The security forces also confiscated large caches of weapons and explosives during the operations. The informed military sources said Friday that  ...KABOOM!... s in Tarinkot district of Uruzgan killed 4 Talibs and maimed another Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... fighter. The sources further added that the Afghan Special Forces conducted a raid in Shahid-e Hassas district and confiscated a large weapons cache containing 2 machine guns, 6 grenades, 12 RPGs, 15 rifles and IED-making components. The Special Forces also destroyed 103 pounds of Heroin and 2,000 pounds of Urea Nitrate during the operation. Meanwhile, ...back at the pond, Gloria slowly backed away from the eight-foot bull frog.
