s in the central province of Pashtun-infested Logar on Thursday night, a front man for Ministry of Defense (MoD), Rohullah Ahmadzai, said on Friday.

Among those killed are Haji Lala, Taliban’s designated governor for Pashtun-infested Logar and his two deputies, Taliban’s designated head of intelligence for Ghazni, Pashtun-infested Logar, Khost, Paktia and Kabul provinces, Mawlawi Shams-ur-Rahman, he said.

Four other Taliban commanders, including foreign citizens, were also killed in the airstrikes, Ahmadzai said.

He said that 12 Taliban fighters were maimed in the airstrikes.

Taliban has rejected the claim.

The Ministry of Defense said Friday that the Arclight airstrike

was carried out in Charkh district of logar.

The statement further added that the airstrike killed Mawlavi Shams-ur-Rehman, the shadow spy chief of Taliban for Ghazni, Pashtun-infested Logar, Khost, Paktiya and Kabul.

Furthermore, the airstrike killed Hekmatyar, Shuja and Rauf, the three foreign comrades of Mawlavi Rehman.
