Special Forces kill 7 Taliban militants, detain 2 others in Paktiya, Farah and Herat
[KhaamaPress] The Special Forces killed 7 Talibs and detained 2 others in Paktiay, Farah and Herat...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... The military officials said Friday that the Special Forces killed 4 Talibs during an operation in Zadran district of Paktiya. The officials further added that the Special Forces killed 3 Talibs during a separate operation in Shindand district of Herat. Furthermore, the Special Forces detained 2 Taliban  ...mindless ferocity in a turban...fighters during an operation in Khak-e Safid district of Farah. Meanwhile, ...back at the chili cook-off, Chuck reached for the green sauce... the Special Forces destroyed 10kg of homemade explosives and several IED-making components during an operation in Shah Wali Kot district of Kandahar.
