Airstrike kills 3 Taliban militants in Herat province
[KhaamaPress] The security forces conducted an  ...KABOOM!... in western Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... province of Afghanistan killing at least 3 Talibs. The military officials said Thursday that the security forces killed 3 Talibs during an airstrike conducted in Shindand district. The Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... group has not commented regarding the airstrike so far. The security situation in Herat province has tanked during the recent months.
