Interestingly, although we have not been seeing much about ISIS in Afghanistan here, Strategy Page argues that ISIS is quietly thriving in Afghanistan, “...because ISIL is the last resort for Islamic radicals seeking an Islamic terror group that has not been ‘compromised‘.” Scroll down to the sixth paragraph for the discussion on the subject.
