He said the removal of accountability judge Arshad Malik was an admission of the judge’s weakness on part of the judiciary.

Mr Fazl said the recent events had exposed accountability courts’ judgments and therefore, no one would call the NAB a fair accountability body.

He said those detained by the NAB were political prisoners.

"The state apparatus, including NAB, has lost its moral standing," he said.

Regarding the opposition’s bid to remove the Senate chairman, the JUI-F chief said the opposition had majority in the Upper House of Parliament, so it had the right to move a no- confidence motion against the chairman.
