ISIS oil minister killed in eastern Syria

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) oil minister was killed in eastern Syria this week after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out a joint operation with the U.S.-led Coalition. According to a statement from the SDF, their troops managed to kill Thabit Sobhi Fahd al-Ahmad while conducting an operation inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate. Thabit Sobhi Fahad al-Ahmad was one of the highest-ranking Islamic State commanders in the Deir Ezzor Governorate. He was responsible for the sale and smuggling of oil from the previously ISIS-occupied areas in Syria and Iraq. Al-Ahmad was also considered one of the criminal masterminds behind the Islamic State’s economic policies during the terrorist group’s brief reign over much of eastern Syria and western Iraq.
