 Bomb blast kills Iraqi man, wounds two of his sons in Diyala Diyala (IraqiNews.com) – An Iraqi man was killed and two of his sons were maimed in a kaboom in Diyala province Sunday, a security source was quoted as saying. Speaking to the Arabic-language Alghad Press news website, the source said that a roadside kaboom went off in a village on the outskirts of Jalawla, northeast of Diyala, leaving a civilian dead and two of his sons maimed. According to the source, a security force rushed to the blast site and carried the maimed into a nearby hospital for treatment, while the dead man was moved to the forensic medicine department. Mortar attack rocks Iraqi village, leaves no casualties Diyala (IraqiNews.com) – An Iraqi security source said on Sunday that seven mortar shells fell on a village in northeastern Diyala province. Speaking to the privately-owned Baghdad Today news website, the source said that the mortar attack on al-Islah village on the outskirts of Jalawla, 70km northeast of Baqubah, left no casualties.
