Israel said to confiscate 1,600 online orders sent to Gaza, fearing military use
[IsraelTimes] Packages intercepted in past year due to concern over items’ potential use for attacks; intended recipients are informed and can appeal.

Israel is increasingly scrutinizing packages headed through the post to the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, concerned that seemingly innocuous items are intended for military use against the Jewish state, according to a report Saturday.

The Ynet news site said 1,600 items bought via online retail sites were confiscated over the past year on their way to the Strip.

The so-called dual-use products, so named for their potential military applications, include drones that can be used for intelligence-gathering; hidden cameras that can be planted on the border fence; encrypted two-way radios, diving equipment, laser pointers, night-vision equipment, masks, helmets, antennas, military-style shoes and more.
"The laser pointers are for our cat videos"
Orders intended for Gaza are shipped to Israel before being transferred to the Strip. Suspect items are tagged and inspected by the Civil Administration, the body which implements Israeli civil policy in the Paleostinian territories, and any dual-use items are seized.

"We inform the recipient that his package was confiscated and sent for liquidation," Second Lieutenant Sahar Weiss, an officer at the Erez border crossing, told Ynet. "Gazooks whose delivery has been seized can file an appeal."

Israel has maintained a blockade of the Gaza Strip since the Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, terror group took over the territory in 2007, and says it is necessary to prevent arms from entering Gaza that could be used in attacks against it. Egypt has kept its border with the Strip shut as well. Israel regularly allows screened goods to enter Gaza through its border crossings.
