Democratic megadonor George Soros launches new super PAC
 ...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true...is launching a super PAC ahead of the 2020 election and has already written the single biggest check of any megadonor so far this election season. Soros contributed $5.1 million to the new group, Democracy PAC, according to paperwork filed with the Federal Election Commission. He was one of the Democratic Party’s biggest donors in the last presidential election, giving more than $20 million to the party’s candidates and causes, and has already doubled the amount he had donated at this point in the 2016 cycle. A person familiar with the group told Politico that Soros’ family members may also donate to the PAC. His son, Alexander Soros, has become somewhat of a Democratic megadonor in recent years.
