Taliban militants behead a disabled man in Sar-e-Pul province
 ...a city and eponymous province in northern Afghanistan, population about 500,000. Demographically it is majority Tadjik and Uzbek. There are small Pashtun, Arab, and Hazara communities, of which the Hazaras mostly don't bother anyone...province of Afghanistan, it has been reported. The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the Talibs beheaded the disabled man in Sancharak district of Sar-e-Pul province. Quoting the family members of the victim, the 209th Shaheen Corps further added that the Talibs initially rubbed out the disabled man and decapitated him afterwards. The Taliban  ...mindless ferocity in a turban...group has not commented regarding the incident so far . It is yet not clear why the Talibs brutally murdered the man. Meanwhile, ...back at the palazzo, Count Guido had been cornered by the banditti... the district administrative chief of Sancharak Naqibullah Daqiq confirmed that the Talibs had kidnapped the victim two weeks ago. Daqiq further added that the victim was a disabled farmer whose decapitated body was recovered two days ago. The security situation in Faryab province has tanked during the recent years.
