Zabul: Afghan forces repulse major Taliban attack on Shamalzo district
[KhaamaPress] The Afghan cops repulsed a major Taliban ...Arabic for students... offensive on Shamalzo district in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement said the Talibs attacked Shamalzo district on Monday night. The statement further added that the Afghan forces quickly responded to the attack and inflicted heavy casualties on Talibs. Furthermore, the Ministry of Defense said a Humvee Armored Personnel Carrier packed with explosives also went off during the festivities. The Ministry of Defense also added that the security forces confiscated another explosives-laden Humvee.
