Jihadists launch counter-offensive in southern Idlib
[ALMASDARNEWS] The jihadist rebels have launched a counter-offensive in southern Idlib this evening after suffering some losses at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) at the Ta’manah front.Led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else  ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State..., the jihadist rebels began their counter-assault by launching a suicide kaboom on the Syrian Arab Army’s positions at the southern axis of Ta’manah. According to a military source in the nearby Hama Governorate, the jihadist rebels stormed the Syrian Army’s defenses shortly after the suicide attack; this resulted in a fierce firefight that is still ongoing at this time.
