Iran has further increased stockpile of enriched uranium: nuclear watchdog

"Iran is progressively backing out of the deal in retaliation for Washington’s withdrawal from the accord and renewal of sanctions that have hit Iranian oil sales," the IAEA report states. "Iran has accumulated 241.6 kg of enriched uranium and is enriching at around the same level as before, up to 4.5 percent," Rooters reports. The measures come during an uptick in tensions in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. Iran shot down a naval reconnaissance drone in the Gulf of Oman on June 20, while several oil tankers have been attacked in the same area.
