Lebanese President warns Israel would bear consequences of any attack
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Leb's President Michel Aoun...president of Leb, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hizbullah... warned on Friday that Israel would bear the results of any attack on his country, days after a flare-up at the border between Israel and Hezbollah. "Please don't kill us!" "Any attack on Leb's illusory sovereignty ... will be met with legitimate self-defense which Israel will bear all the consequences of," Aoun's office cited him as saying in a meeting with the UN Special Coordinator for Leb. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week warned Leb and Leb’s Hezbollah to "be careful what you say and more careful what you do." Leb’s Prime Minister Saad Hariri  ...Second son of Rafik Hariri, the Leb PM who was assassinated in 2005. He has was prime minister in his own right from 2009 through early 2011. He was born in Riyadh to an Iraqi mother and graduated from Georgetown University. He managed his father's business interests in Riyadh until his father's assassination. When his father died he inherited a fortune of some $4.1 billion, which won't do him much good if Hizbullah has him bumped off, too....responded in a CNBC interview saying that Israel wants to make Leb look responsible for the recent tensions. "Israel wants to have this scenario that Leb is responsible, with what Netanyahu says, and if you want to buy it, buy it.
