49 Taliban militants killed, wounded; strategic compound destroyed in Balkh
9 September[KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces killed or maimed at least 49 Talibs during the operations in northern Balkh province. The 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement that the security forces conducted the operations in Siya Aab Village of Sholgara district and Arzankar Village of Chamtal district. The statement further added that the security forces killed 36 Talibs and maimed 13 others during the operations. Furthermore, the security forces destroyed a strategic compound of the turbans and four cycle of violences.
